(Boa constrictor amarali)

This is a project of ours that is “in the works.” Many years ago, we purchased a pair of amarali produced by one of the top Bolivian breeders in the country. These Bolivians were incredible. The male was an absolute knock-out Silverback and the female was also silver with more of the pink highlighting often seen in the Bolivians offered today. At that time, Joe was still in school, and as students sometimes are, BROKE and well equipped to make poor decisions! Needless to say, due to college expenses (books, beer, pizza, etc.) the pair was sold to another Bolivian enthusiast. That was some time ago. Over the last couple of years we have tried to get the pair back, but understandably the owner does not wish to part with them. So we’ve spent the last couple years searching for amarali that are comparable to the ones we once had. After many years of searching through shows, internet ads, etc, we’ve put together a group that is just as nice as our originals. Definition of IRONY (or slap in the face, however you wish to look at it): Some of the individuals in our current sub-adult group are offspring to the original pair we once owned!
